Who would like to have a meet?

Currently there's an organized 944 meet known as 944Fest, but who would like to have an Oppo version?? I WOULD! Let's make this a thing.

If you've got a 944, 924, 928, 968, or hell, any Porsche really, name yourself now! I wanna get an idea of how many people there are. :)

Long island, NY. If this meet actually becomes reality I'll even try to get my dad's friend to come along. He has a 944 turbo, but he had my dad and his friend Thom put in an LS3. I will hopefully becoming with my dad in his bright yellow '76 911S which is in the closing stages of a restoration we have been doing on it for the few years.

About fifteen minutes outside of New Orleans, LA. I see that this is probably going to be held on the east coast somewhere— a road trip would be fun with enough notice in advance.

Well this is what his 911 looked like before we started the resto. Now its covered in primer with parts scattered all over the house waiting to be painted. And if your wondering T&A Racing is......

They built this. My dad Adam and his friend Thom, hence T&A, built this for the dealership they worked for back in 2000. He raced it successfully for three years before the dealership shut down the race program. It ran a 3.4L with 50mm PMO's and a crap ton of custom suspension work. It weighed around 1950lbs wet and made 365 at the crank on a fairly conservative tune. He even got to race it during the first rennsport with all of the factory cars.

As for the 944, i unfortunately don't have photos. But there is video!

Thanks! Yep, it is a '74, and It's actually a series of problems. Very complicated and can't be explained in short. I have videos though! Excuse my unusual voice -_-

The battery was low on charge when I did this..And when I refer to engine temp, I really mean oil temp.

well personally after watching the videos and reading most of the forum posts, i'd do what the guys on the forum told me, but thats just me. As for my dad's opinion, you'll have to wait for tomorrow because he is now sleeping. Oh, and nice job spotting the later mirrors. A lot less people actually catch that then you would think.

Sold to make room for Orchid. That and Bierwagen was due for another 10+ hours of repairs that I didn't feel like doing.

She's a much better car, but it's just not quite the same. Bierwagen was so damn hater-proof. Like the people who hated were the people I didn't want to like my car anyways. Had an absolute blast wearing out first gear and my clutch doing woodward last year with my best friend in the passenger seat. Met up with some girls I knew for lunch, had them in it for a bit and we all caught up. I even took my mom for a ride in it with her friend too. Good times......So now I need to do Orchid's tuning plan and get her wrap sorted out so I can have my Colin McRae Focus WRC clone.
